When it comes to electrical safety, take time to understand important do’s and don’ts! May is Electrical Safety Month, which promotes awareness of electrical safety and the importance of taking proper precautions when dealing with electricity.

On March 1, family, friends and co-workers of Lonnie Merryman gathered to celebrate his faithful service to Petit Jean Electric Cooperative. Lonnie began working at Petit Jean on June 6, 2006, and retired after 15 years of service.

Notice is hereby given that the Annual Membership Meeting of Petit Jean Electric Cooperative Corporation will be held on Thursday, May 23, at the Cooperative headquarters in Clinton, Van Buren County, beginning at 6 p.m.
We do our best to avoid them, but there’s no way around it: power outages occasionally happen. Most of the time outages are rare and only last a few hours. But if major storms impact our area, extended outages can be unavoidable.
Beginning Feb. 1, Petit Jean Electric Cooperative will accept sealed bids in our Clinton office.
