Notice is hereby given that the Annual Membership Meeting of Petit Jean Electric Cooperative Corporation will be held on Thursday, May 23, at the Cooperative headquarters in Clinton, Van Buren County, beginning at 6 p.m.
We do our best to avoid them, but there’s no way around it: power outages occasionally happen. Most of the time outages are rare and only last a few hours. But if major storms impact our area, extended outages can be unavoidable.
Beginning Feb. 1, Petit Jean Electric Cooperative will accept sealed bids in our Clinton office.
When outdoor temperatures drop, our electricity use increases. That’s because we’re doing more activities inside, and our heating systems are running longer and more often to counteract colder outdoor temperatures.
