As we move into the end of 2022, we reflect on how quickly another year has gone by. It’s hard to believe that a new year will soon be upon us! As we look back on the past year, we are proud of the many ways our rural communities have grown and changed as the result of our cooperative’s continued commitment to delivering reliable and affordable high-speed internet.

We are excited to share on behalf of Petit Jean Electric Cooperative and Petit Jean Fiber, our fiber subsidiary, that fiber internet services are now available to order for Scotland, Cleveland, Quitman, Bee Branch and Damascus substations.
Fall is a busy time, and October is a particularly eventful month with school, community and sports activities in full swing. It’s also when all cooperatives celebrate National Co-op Month –– which really means we are celebrating you! After all, our co-op wouldn’t exist without you, our members.
Petit Jean Electric Cooperative is your local, member-owned electric energy provider. The cooperative’s purpose is not to make profits for shareholders but to provide you, the member-owners, with the most reliable electric service at an affordable cost.
Why do certain, but not all, electric cooperatives in Arkansas require application fees and liability insurance from their members who wish to interconnect solar, wind, or other self-generation resources to the grid?
As you prepare for hunting season, keep in mind that along with general hunting safety, electrical safety should be a priority.
