The offices of Petit Jean Electric Cooperative will be closed Thursday, Dec. 23 and Friday, Dec. 24 for the Christmas holiday. The offices will also be closed on Friday, Dec. 31 for the New Year’s holiday.
December is a time of reflection. Looking back at 2021, it’s easy to remember significant events like the continuing pandemic and the historic February winter storms. But I also recall times when we helped our communities, restored power after storms, supported our youth and assisted our members with ways to save energy and lower their bills.
Later this month, families all over our service area will be coming together to celebrate Thanksgiving. For us at Petit Jean Electric, we are thankful that this will be the last year without fiber internet for our communities!
Electric co-ops have long had a special affinity for veterans. Perhaps because they are both so closely aligned in outlook, focusing on service, mission and country.
