As we near the end of another remarkable year, we, at Petit Jean Electric and Petit Jean Fiber, are filled with gratitude and a sense of pride for the journey we've embarked on together. It has been a year of monumental milestones, all woven into the fabric of our local community. As we take a moment to reflect, we want to share with you the remarkable moments that have made 2023 truly special.
In 2023, we have: • Connected over 4,000 homes and businesses to fiber-fast internet. • Built over 2,000 miles of fiber across our service territory. • Placed 15 fiber huts to house and protect the lines that connect our community.
Our commitment to supporting our community remains unwavering. At Petit Jean Electric Cooperative, our sole reason for offering high-speed internet services through Petit Jean Fiber is to meet the needs of members like you. We are working as quickly as possible to reach all our members with worldclass fiber to provide faster, more reliable and more affordable options to stay connected online.
Throughout the year, we have connected several local businesses, providing them with the high-quality, high-speed internet they need to grow and thrive. We have allowed a countless number of students to utilize online learning resources, allowing them to take their education to the next level. Our dedicated team is available around the clock ready to lend a helpful hand, giving Petit Jean subscribers the level of customer service and support only a local provider can.
At Petit Jean, community isn't just a word; it's a way of life. This fiber project is completely centered around Petit Jean Electric Cooperative members and enhancing our community with the reliable, high-speed internet we have previously lacked. Our commitment is to serve 100% of our members with our fiber-fast internet, and we’re getting closer and closer to reaching that goal each day with over 4,000 Petit Jean members currently connected to the internet of the future! We’re bringing better internet, better service and a better price with Petit Jean Fiber.
As we move into 2024, we have exciting plans in store. We will continue expanding our network to all of the communities within our service territory, improving our services and finding new ways to make our community stronger and more connected.
